RWCC Spring Concert: Lead with Love
The Rochester Women's Community Chorus is back on stage under the direction of Kristy Houston, Friday, June 16, at the Downtown United Presbyterian Church. Come be with us as we present Lead with Love: a concert showcasing songs of love building bridges, walking united, and rising up for rights and justice. This performance will be ASL-interpreted for deaf and hard-of-hearing audience members and wheelchair accessible. Tickets are available through Ticketleap and from any RWCC member.
Sister Singers
June 28-July 2, 2023, we will take part in the Sister Singers Network Choral Festival 2023 We Rock the World in Cleveland, Ohio.
Friends Forever Concert with RGMC
July 8, 2023, we will perform with the Rochester Gay Men's Chorus at their Friends Forever concert, part of their Fabulous 40th anniversary season.

A Taste of Song
On February 5th we were be one of 16 choruses who performed in the Greater Rochester Choral Consortium's prism-style concert, A Taste of Song.
RWCC Winter Concert, Voices of Strength, Saturday, January 14, 2023
We returned with the first full concert of our own since the pandemic, sharing music that communicates the strength of being one voice! Our program included Rachel Platten’s Fight Song, Wings from Little Mix, We Are from Dr. Ysaye Barnwell, and We Shake We Shine, the work of Joan Szymko, raising us up in lyrics adapted from icons of women’s strength Coretta Scott King, Ida B. Wells, Alice Paul, and Mary Church Terrell.
ROC'n Rainbow
On Saturday, July 9th, 2022 we performed at the Rochester Gay Men's Chorus's Pride concert, ROC'n Rainbow, at School of the Arts. This was our return to the stage after the coronavirus shutdowns. The concert featured sets by the RGMC, RWCC, and the Flower City Pride Band. Our set included Fight Song, Truly Brave, We Are Family, and Winnebago.
Spring Concert, Saturday, May 30, 2020--Postponed
Our 2020 Spring Concert, "Lifting As We Climb," formerly to be held on May 30, 2020 at the Harley School, was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Prism Concert, Sunday, February 17, 2019
Our recent Prism Concert: A Taste of Song was held at Kodak Hall at the Eastman Theater. Hosted by the Greater Rochester Choral Consortium. We performed "The Little Road," music and body percussion by Moira Smiley; words by Josephine Preston Peabody.

Our Winter Concert was held at the Asbury First United Methodist Church on January 12, 2019, and included hits like "Winnebago," "Walk, Sister," "Isle of Hope," the Taiwanese train song "Diu Diu Dang A," "Refugee," and "The Little Road."
RWCC Spring Concert, 40th Anniversary Concert, Saturday, June 2, 2018.
In the Spring 2018 concert, the Rochester Women's Community Chorus celebrated 40 years of joyful singing with a concert of RWCC favorites through 4 decades! You'll hear familiar tunes such as Broadway's "Seasons of Love" by Jonathan Larson, the pop classic, "Brave" by Sara Bareilles, "1000 Grandmothers," a song of caring and compassion by Holly Near, and so much more.

Our Winter 2018 Concert was held the evening of Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Clover Center for the Arts. The concert, titled "To Dream a World," featured songs inspired by Martin Luther King.

Spring Concert, 2015

Our free concert was a benefit for Alternatives for Battered Women, now called the Willow Domestic Violence Center. Thank you to all of our generous donors!
This was a concert of music by female composers and lyricists, including Carole King, Holly Near, Elizabeth Alexander, Ysaye Barnwell, and Sara Bareilles.
Prism Concert, Greater Rochester Choral Consortium
"A Taste of Song," along with our consortium of chorales was held at the Eastman School of Music on February 8, 2015.
Our winter 2014 concert, Simple Gifts, was held on Saturday, December 6th, 2014.

For our usual, twice-yearly non-benefit concerts: Organized groups of 15 or more people may obtain a group discount. Tickets will be available at the door on the night of the concert. Advance tickets will be available from chorus members and at Equal=Grounds coffee house (750 South Ave, Rochester, NY 14620; 585-242-7840).
